Bill Don Adams

Billy Don Adams, 81, of Rogers passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Mr. Adams was born April 23, 1938 in Harrisburg, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Rosetta Adams, and siblings Cletus, Charles, Maxine, Bobby and his former wife of 25 years and mother of his children Glenna Sue Adams. He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Adams; his daughter, Kelly James (Kevin) of Rogers; his son, Jeff Adams (Terri) of Missouri; his stepchildren, Heather Payton (James) of Oklahoma, Courtney Jurgensmeyer (Aaron) of Rogers, Christian Neeman of California and Lucas Neeman of Oklahoma; a sister Kathleen Wasson of Illinois; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members; business associates and dear friends. His retail career began with Woolworth, Woolco, and Skaggs before his successful 20-year career with Wal-Mart and retiring as a Regional Vice-President. Bill loved the St. Louis Cardinals, playing golf, and telling jokes. He enjoyed his farm and loved all animals. Bill loved his family, friends, his Lord and attended First Baptist Church of Lowell. Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 5 p.m.-7 p.m., and the Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25 at First Baptist Church, 409 Johnson Ave., Lowell, Ark.
