Reed Davenport Hamman Jr.

Reed Davenport Hamman Jr., 87, of Wesley, Arkansas, died Sunday, September 9, 2018. He was born September 16, 1930 in Memphis, Tenn. He graduated from Central High School in 1948 and Memphis State in 1952. He was a Korean War veteran and realtor. He is preceded in death by his son, Steve Forrest Hamman. Reed is survived by his wife of 62 years, Martha Branch Hamman, his son, Reed Kevin Hamman (wife Cecilia), two daughters, Susan Hamman Blackburn (husband Ray), Judy Leigh Costello (husband Tom), six grandchildren, Nathan, Jennifer, Heather, Garrett, Jacob, and Grace, and five great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be Friday, September 14 at 11 a.m. at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Reed loved nature and people.
