Lori Elizabeth Woody Weston

Lori Elizabeth Woody Weston, 40, wife of Jason E. Weston, Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018, at their home. Lori was born November 18, 1977 in Atlanta, Ga. to David L. Woody and Carolyn Garrett Woody. She grew up in Walhalla, S.C. She married Jason Weston on July 21, 2001. Lori was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a member of the Gamma Beta Phi honor society. She worked as a Special Education Teacher in Greenville, S.C. and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Lori moved to Bella Vista, Ark. in 2014 and attended Bella Vista Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, wife, and friend who loved children and animals. Lori was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Woody. In addition to her husband and parents, Lori is survived by her son: Noah Weston of the home; brothers: Justin Woody of Greer, S.C., David Woody Jr. of Honea Path, S.C., Kevin Woody of Clemson, S.C. and Jon Woody of Atlanta, Ga. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Westview Cemetery in Walhalla, S.C. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Bella Vista Baptist Church in Bella Vista, Ark. with reception to follow.
