John Franklin Smiley

John Franklin Smiley, age 65, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018. He was born on May 16, 1953, in Hamilton, Bermuda, to Loyal Lane and Eileen (McCormac) Smiley. He is preceded in death by his father. John is survived by his mother, Eileen Smiley (Clinton), wife, Margie Smiley (Fayetteville), sister, Cathy Smiley (Key West, Fla.), children, Camille Smiley (Washington, DC) and Daniel Smiley (Fayetteville), the mother of his children, Ginger Milan (Harrison), step-sons, Jeff Genereaux (Berryville) and Eric Roberts (Bella Vista), and three grandchildren: Noah, Aveline, and Connor. A visitation will be held from 5–6 p.m. with a service to follow at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
