Marta Ines Morrison

Marta Ines Morrison, 63, of Lowell, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 at her home. She was born May 13, 1955 in Bogota, Colombia to Jose and Josefina Triana Parra. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marta was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and was active with the NWA Activity Center in Rogers. She taught Spanish class, enjoyed playing pickle ball, hiking and bicycling. Marta loved fiercely, forgave selflessly and showed all those who surrounded her how special her light was. She is survived by her husband, Gary Morrison of the home; a son, Nicolas Guerrero-Parra of Fayetteville; a daughter, Natalia Guerrero-Parra of Fayetteville; and two sisters, Myriam and Amalia Parra, both of Bogota, Colombia. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 at Beard's Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018 at Beard's Chapel with Msgr David Lesieur officiating.
