Dallan A. Brown, 77, passed away Oct. 30, 2018 in Bentonville. He was born on Dec. 13, 1940 in Tulare, Calif., to the late Harvey and Louise (Talley) Brown. He was the loving husband of Ruth (Rinke) Brown for 54 years. He owned Peggy's Cleaners and Laundry in Fayetteville for a few years and was also a bi-vocational pastor for many years before retiring. Dallan enjoyed fishing with his friends. He was also an excellent woodworker and made rocking horses for all his grandchildren. Dallan was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie Brown. He is survived by his wife of Bentonville; son, Don "Bubba" Brown and wife, Alicea of Bentonville; daughters, Donna Brown and Pam Brockman, both of Kansas; brothers, Steve Brown (Gasha) of Benton and Billy Dean Brown (Cindy) of Jonesboro; sisters, Brenda Collins (Harold) of Augusta, Ark., Vikki Sellers of Judsonia, Ark., LaNell Fraser (Fred) of McCrory, Ark., Mary Majors (James) of Searcy, Ark., and Paula Jones (William) of McCrory, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be on Nov. 11, 2018 at 1 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
