Brenda Kay Dean, 61, joined God's heavenly family on Nov. 2, 2018. She was born on July 7, 1957 in Little Rock, Ark., to Wesley and Glenna (Brand) Cagle. She was the loving wife of 35 years to Phil Dean. Brenda was a 1975 graduate of Danville High School and a 1976 graduate of Baptist Nursing School in Little Rock. She was a nurse for many years. Brenda loved flowers, especially roses. Her life included several well-loved pets. Brenda kept a well-appointed home; she loved decorating and was always adding decorations to her home. She and her sister, Sue, spent many hours in their playhouse; they were inseparable as children. She loved her mother, Glenna Cagle Pledger, dearly. Brenda was preceded in death by her daddy, Wesley Marlo Cagle; an infant brother; an infant sister; stepfather, Boyd Pledger; and infant grandson, Marion Phillip Cook. She is survived by her mother, Glenna Cagle Pledger of Rogers; husband, Phil of Springdale; their beautiful daughters that she loved dearly, Kemily Harper of Bella Vista, Mary Ellen Hall of North Carolina and Terri Cook of Hiwassee; sister, Sue Scott (John) of Rogers; grandchildren, Wesley Reid, Matthew Reid, and Spencer Hall; great-grandchildren, Brody, Zander and Mackai Reid; one niece and one nephew. A graveside celebration of her life will be held on Nov. 6, 2018 at 1 p.m. in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.
