Patricia Irene Ribar

Patricia Irene Ribar, 81, of Rogers, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018. She was born November 29, 1936 in Plymouth, Michigan to the late John and Jessie Marie Nelson Wohn. For nearly 63 years she was the loving wife of Orin S. Ribar, who survives. Following graduation from Plymouth High School she began a career with Daisy Manufacturing where she met the love of her life. In 1958, Patricia, Orin and their 2 daughters relocated, with other Daisy families, to Rogers where she began a career of raising her family, caring for foster children and providing loving care to the many children that she babysat. She was a founding member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers and a 43 year member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers. Survivors include her children, Sherri Ribar (Lucy Little) of Sherwood, Lisa Pierce (David) of Texas and Steven Ribar (Dr. Brooke Bisbee) Ribar of Rogers; her grandchildren, Allyson and Jon Ribar of Rogers; her sisters, Deanna Vogras of Florida and Kay Rhudy (Bo) of Michigan; her brothers, John Wohn (Jackie) of Washington State and Ron Wohn (Joyce) of Alabama; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and more than 20 foster children she loved dearly. A Celebration of her Life will be at 2:00pm, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in Peace Lutheran Church, 805 West Olrich in Rogers. Interment will be at a later date in Rogers Cemetery.
