Luella Fueg Felker

Luella Fueg Felker, 97, of Grapevine, Texas, died Tuesday, December 11th, 2018. She was born October 12, 1921 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was teaching in the Shawnee schools when she met and married Warren R. "Dick" Felker during WWII. Dick's post-war work as a corporate pilot meant many moves, but much of their time, with son Rick and daughter Julie was spent in Tulsa, Okla. The family moved to Rogers in 1961 when Dick took on a role in several Felker family businesses, including the Hotel Arkansas, Press Publishing Company and the Rogers Insurance Agency, while Lu was active in the First Baptist Church and many service organizations. Dick passed away in 1992, and 11 years later Lu moved to Ft. Worth, Texas area, near Julie. Friends may attend a graveside service at Rogers Public Cemetery on Monday, December 17th, 2018, at 10:00 AM. Lu was a devoted wife, caring mother and a loyal friend, she will be dearly missed.
