Lois Ellen White

Lois Ellen White, age 81, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born on June 1, 1937, in Elkins, Arkansas, to Ben and Mable (Stokenbury) White. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Whitney Stone. Lois was a devoted mother whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and their beloved families. Lois worked as a directory assistant for Southwestern Bell for twenty-seven years before retiring. She was a proud member of the Southwestern Bell Pioneer's. She spent her free time volunteering with the elderly, gardening, bird watching and traveling. She is survived by her four children, Catherine Stone and husband Ron of Fayetteville, Cindy Phelan and husband Jim of Centerton, Earlena (Lena) Butler and husband Greg of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Jack E. Page of Fayetteville; one sister, Frances Kelly; four brothers, Paul White and wife Eleanor, Leland White, John White and wife Lou, and Robert White and wife Virgie; 10 grandchildren, Zach Stone, Adrianne Stone, Heather Stone, Adam Phelan, Hunter (Leah) Phelan, Hiliary (Will) Harris, Ben Butler, Katelyn Page (Willie) Benson, Nicholas Page, and Carly Page; five great-grandchildren, Hunter Cigainero, Addison Butler, William Huckabee, Emmalyn Harris, and Tatum James Phelan; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Moore's Chapel Funeral Home at 206 W. Center Street, Fayetteville, Ark. 72701. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fayetteville.
