Theda Marie Keeney

Theda Marie Keeney, 84 of Mayfield passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at Meadowview Health & Rehab in Huntsville. She was born Feb. 18, 1932 in Talala, Okla. to Sam and Ollie Sisemore Johnson. Theda was the Owner and Operator of the Mayfield Store for 21 years. She retired in 1993. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Keeney, her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include one son, Joe Keeney and wife Kim of Mayfield; two sisters, five grandchildren, Silva Waterson of West Fork, Jerrod Stidham of Fayetteville, Talisa Lewis of Hindsville, Shanny Keeney of Clifty, Bo Keeney of Forum and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor Eldon Bagwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Joyce Cemetery.
