Sally Greenert Kern, 74, of Rogers, Ark, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Dec. 11, 1941 in Denver, Colo., to Francis and Margaret Pitcher Greenert. She was a professional photographer and artist and enjoyed working in oils and creating beautiful landscapes and abstract paintings. She loved all animals but especially her little dog, Tiny. Sally attended Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers and was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister. Sally is survived by two daughters, Wendy Cox of Topeka, Kan., and Shannon Rumsey and husband, Bill of Rogers; one sister, Becky Aguilar of Norman, Okla.; three grandchildren, Andrew Cox, Lindsey Miner, Logan Rumsey; and her special dog, Tiny. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Lake Prairie Creek in the main pavilion, 9300 N. Park Road, Rogers. Memorials may be made in memory of Sally Kern to your local animal shelter. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
