Lois Blackburn

Lois Marie Blackburn better known to many as "Granny", died Monday, February 29th at her residence. She was born May 5, 1916 in Ionia, Kansas. She was a homemaker, who loved putting a grand meal on the table, and raising her kids. She was a poodle training, fish catcher, book reading, fierce Bridge player, light footed dancer, straight talker, loyal friend, and a beautiful person. Granny lived a blessed life and will be missed by all. Granny was a Papa loving, family centered, mother of four children. She also had 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters-in-law. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on March 9th at the Cooper Chapel in Bella Vista.
