Ronald Rae Hankins

Sgt. Ronald Rae Hankins of Cave Springs passed away on October 4, 2016. He was born on September 6, 1953 in Kingman, Kan., to Richard Lee and Lois Hankins. He was the beloved husband of Charlette Hankins. Ron served for 22 years in the Army National Guard in Oklahoma. He worked eight years for Wal-Mart in the maintenance department. He was a proud member of the American Legion and the NRA. He was a member of the House of Prayer church in Rogers. He is survived by his wife; his mother, Lois Chapman and stepfather Ron Chapman; sisters, Carol Jean, Marilyn Yona, Brenda Charlene; brothers, Steven Glenn Hankins, Gregory Neal Hankins, Roger Wade Hankins; two stepchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; 11 nieces; 20 nephews; 21 great-nieces and -nephews; and one great-great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, and three stepchildren. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to House of Prayer.
