Michael Dale Moreland

The world lost a great and joyful spirit when Michael Dale Moreland died suddenly of an aneurysm on Feb. 22, 2015. Michael, born on January 7, 1949, was raised in Phoenix, Ariz., with his sisters and brother. After high school he attended the University of Arizona where he met Kim Iaggi, who became his wife and the love of his life. He is survived by his wife, three children and eight grandchildren. After 10 years in the business world, Michael was called to the ministry, serving his Lord at First Presbyterian Church in Levelland, Texas; First Presbyterian Church in Centralia, Wash.; Mount Comfort Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, Ark.; and Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church in Indio, Calif. His final position, before retirement three years ago, was to direct the Senior Center in Indio, Calif. His family asks that in memory of Michael you honor him by telling someone close to you that you love them, and that you choose to live each day as Michael did: with joy and appreciation for all the adventures of this world.
