Betty Lou Bagwell, 83, of Brookline, Missouri passed away on March 15, 2015. She was born January 28, 1932 in Spring Valley, Arkansas. Betty married David Bradford Bagwell on June 19, 1949 in Springdale, Arkansas. Betty is survived by children, Marilyn (Bagwell) Burks and husband Victor of Nixa, Mo., Michael Bagwell of Springfield, Joyce (Bagwell) Gamble and husband Neil of Hurley, Mo., four granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband David, her parents Leo and Mary Johnson of Sonora, Arkansas; Sisters, Mary Ellen (Johnson) Young, Montez (Johnson) Curtis and Virginia (Johnson) Ingraham of Springdale, Arkansas and granddaughter, Jessica (Gamble) Pope of Hurley, Mo. Betty was a homemaker and an active member of Grant Avenue Free Will Baptist Church serving as a children's Sunday School teacher, children's Bible Drill leader and Women's Auxiliary member for many years. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, 441 W. Battlefield Rd., Springfield, Missouri. Services will be held Friday, March 20, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Manley Cemetery in Battlefield, Mo.
