Charlestine Finch Metcalf

Charlestine Finch Metcalf, 93, of Fayetteville, Ark., formerly of Crossett, Ark. passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 in Springdale, Ark. She was born July 10, 1922 in Ladelle, Ark. to Charles and Hattie Mae (Johnson) Finch. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Crossett, Ark. and after moving to Fayetteville, Ark. in 1986 she became a member of Sequoyah Methodist Church in Fayetteville. She was a volunteer at Washington Regional Medical Center and attended Bible Study Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Lee Metcalf, and one son, Charles Craig Metcalf. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Meadows and husband Bill of Fayetteville, one grandson, Bill Meadows Jr. and wife Sunny of Byron, Minn., one granddaughter, Mary Jane Bryles and husband Roger of Fayetteville, Ark., and two great grandchildren, Sophie Ellen Bryles and Lily Kate Bryles. Graveside funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, December 11th at Lakewood Cemetery in Crossett, Ark. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, December 21st at Sequoyah Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
