Dean Fletcher

Dean Fletcher, 89 of Hiwasse, Ark., was called home on Sunday, May 11, 2014, at Concordia Health and Rehabilitation in Bella Vista, Ark. He was born on Dec. 13, 1924, in Hiwasse, Ark., to Andy Fletcher and Beulah Dean Fletcher. He lived in the Hiwasse area all of his life. He drove semi trucks most of his life and had been to all but four of the United States. He was also a carpenter and built several houses in the area. He was protestant, and attended the Church of the Nazarene. He is preceded in death by his wife Nona Mae Fletcher, two brothers Everette Fletcher and Denice Fletcher, two sisters Genevieve Fletcher and Nona Faye Mathews. He is survived by two sons, Clarence Dean and wife Donna, Johnny Wayne Fletcher; his daughter, Geneva Hamilton and husband Robert; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held at the Hiwasse Fire Station on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Association, P.O.
