Loretta Trotter Edwards

Loretta Mae Trotter Edwards, age 77, of Rogers passed away May 8, 2014, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born on Aug. 5, 1936, to the late Glenn and Mary (Oxford) Phillps. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Rogers. Survivors include her husband, Gene Edwards; children, Jerry Trotter and wife, Kathy, of Avoca, Terry Trotter of Jacket, Mo., Polly Trotter-Henry and husband, Mike, of Garfield, Connie Trotter-Cypert and husband, Donnie, of Garfield, Timmy Trotter and wife, Diana, of Rogers; siblings, John Austin and wife, Sherline, of Rogers, Kay Harvey of Bella Vista, Jan Groves and husband, Mike, of Rogers, Debbie DeShields of Bella Vista, Donna Laird and husband, Paul, of Rogers; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by stepchildren, Jeff Edwards, Shanda Edwards and Bill Edwards, all of Texas; five stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, L.D. Trotter; and a son, Dennis Trotter. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Charity Baptist Church in Rogers, officiated by Pastor John Nauman. Cremation will follow.
