Carolyn Cozete Carter, 74, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, in Celina, Texas. Carolyn was born March 7, 1940. She is survived by her husband, Don "HoHo" Carter; children, John Enyart and his wife, Mitch, of San Antonio, Texas, Bobby Anson and his wife, Ashley, of Dallas, Texas, Lisa Northrup and her husband, David, of San Jose, Calif., and Laurie Key and her husband, Doug, of Bentonville, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends. Family came first — she answered to Mom, Mamaw and occasionally Mrs. Wonderful. She listened… her strength was leaned upon, her caring and sensitive nature was relied upon, and her open, honest and outspoken voice was used to protect those closest to her. She reminded us that dreams are meant to be achieved. One more "swig" when you cross the Red River — her hugs and kisses will be missed. Graveside services were held on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, Okla. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, 800-873-6983, www.stjude.org/tributes. You may leave an online message at evansandmillerfuneralhomes.com. The family has chosen to entrust the care of the services to Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, Okla.
