Margaret Ida Shannon

Margaret Ida (Wissmann) Shannon, age 92, of Rogers, died Jan. 21, 2014, at Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on Nov. 19, 1921, to the late William and Blanche (Michon) Wissmann. On April 5, 1941, she married Eugene "Sarge" Shannon. They were married 56 years at the time of his death in 1997. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, the great outdoors, and making a house a home. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Mollie Marie Eoff and husband, Clifton, of Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Michelle (Mickie) Woolard; and three younger brothers, George, Bill and Bobby Wissmann. Services will be private.
