Darcey Richards Gonzales

Darcey Richards Gonzales, 53, died Jan. 19, 2014, at her home in Springdale. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on Aug. 8, 1960, to John and Madeline Merchant Richards. Darcey sold auto parts for most of her life. She loved spending time with her grandkids and her five cats, Bobo, Baby, Black Cat, Patches and Tigra. She was very down to earth and a free spirit. She never knew or met a stranger. Survivors include one son, Johnathon Gonzales and wife, Jamie, of Lafayette, La.; one daughter, Desirae Gonzales of Grove, Okla.; two grandchildren, Justice Gonzales and Dylan Reyes; one brother, Rory Richards of Marshall,Texas; one sister, Patricia Craver and husband, David, of Higbee, Mo.; and very special lifelong friend, Timothy Cook of Springdale. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at Sisco Funeral Chapel. Visitation will start at 2 p.m. the day of the service.
