Bob Duhon, family man, Christian leader, builder and passionate mower, died peacefully Jan. 18, 2014. Born Robert Lester Duhon on Sept. 8, 1932, in Barbers Hill, Texas, he had a ready smile and was always quick to tell everyone "call me Bob" as he gave a warm handshake. He loved hugs, sausage, family gatherings, hot showers, dominoes, hardware stores and a good bargain. But above all else, Bob loved Jesus first and his family second. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Willie M. Duhon, Sr, and Eula Gladys Hoffpauir; stepmother, Theresa; and siblings Katherine, Junior, Donald and Frances. Survivors include his wife, Anne; children, Pati Murdock and husband Bill of Rogers, Ark., Craig Duhon and wife Donna of Rockwall, Texas, Chris Duhon and wife Jamie of Houston, Texas, Matt Duhon and wife Amy of Frisco, Texas, Phil Duhon and wife Danielle of Austin, Texas; sister, Lola Landers of Roanoke, Va.; grandchildren, Danielle, Brian and wife Leanne, William, Mason, Madeline, Eric, Landon, Matthew, Shelby, Grace, Ellie, Brooke and Sophie. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at Circle of Life Chapel in Bentonville. In lieu of flowers please send a memorial donation to Bob's favorite charity, JoniAndFriends.org. Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
