Destin Edward Meadors

Destin Edward Meadors, 46, a resident of Springdale, Ark., passed away Feb. 19, 2014, Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Jan. 15, 1968, Fayetteville, Ark., the son of Eddie and Lylith Stufflebeam Meadors. Destin loved everything outdoors; animals, fishing, hunting and gardening. He was very creative with an incredible artistic ability and loved making things by hand. Destin's sense of humor left anyone and everyone he met laughing to tears. Destin was intelligent and often talked of returning to college to finish his human services degree in order to help others. Helping people was his most satisfying passion. He was compassionate, caring, loving and sensitive to the needs of others. Through his eyes, he could do anything and had no limitations; he never saw himself as handicapped. He loved a hard life and embraced every minute with a smile and positive, upbeat attitude. Destin was surrounded by the love of a huge family with many cousins, aunts, uncles and the like. Survivors include his wife, Shannon Meadors; his mother, Lylith Howes of Elm Springs; one brother, Sage Howes of St. George, Utah; one sister, Heradonnious Featherstone of Ventura, Calif. Memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at 13055 Kenneth Price Road, Elm Springs, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Ark.
