Walter Allen Clogston

Walter Allen Clogston 88, of Springdale, died Feb. 13, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born May 28, 1925, in Hockersville, Okla., to Walter Allen and Gladys Miller Clogston. He was a WWII Army veteran. Walter worked in Sales working for Jewell T and several other companies. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, painting and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Gonzales and a sister, Alliene Cannon. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Gooch Clogston whom he married April 26, 1946. Son, Curtis Lee Allen Clogston and wife Sheila of Manteca, Calif.; three daughters, Cathy Marie Geiger of Las Vega, Nev., Christi Lynn Clogston of Camarillo, Calif., and Carrie Talbot and husband Fred of Citrus Heights, Calif. Nieces, Pam Matchell and Lynne Martin of Springdale and numerous other nieces and nephews. Thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
