James Blacksher

James M. Blacksher, age 87 of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Chickasha, Okla. He was a police officer and served as a Merchant Marine. He is survived by his daughter, Holly Daniel of Hesperus, Colo., and two sons, Jay Blacksher of Aztec, N.M., and Rodney Blacksher of Fayetteville, Ark.; two grandchildren, Chris Melzark and Scott Blacksher.
