Louise Ferguson, 79, of Springdale passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born June 28, 1934, in Gillsville, Ga., to George and Mattie Pepper Benton. Louise was a member of First United Methodist Church in Springdale. She was active in the family business, and she loved her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Ferguson; and two brothers, Charles Benton and James Benton. Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Ferguson of the home, to whom she married March 26, 1952; two sons, Mike Ferguson and Steven Anthony Ferguson, both of Springdale; one sister, Linda Strickland of Gainesville, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Christa Lawrence, Kayla Malone, Stephen Ferguson, Kyle Ferguson, Kendra Ferguson, Kenzie Ferguson and Lauren Ferguson; four great-grandchildren, Kaylee Ferguson, Hayden Lawrence, Ireland Malone and Ivy Malone. Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with the Rev. Judy Van Hoose, the Rev. C.L. "Red" Dixon and the Rev. Phil Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Stand Up To Cancer, File 1224, 1801 W.
