Martha Irene 'Renie' Gabbard Lamproe

Martha Irene "Renie" Gabbard Lamproe, everyone knew her as "Renie," age 50, of Newalla, Okla., passed away on Dec. 9, 2013, in Poteet, Texas. She born Oct. 1, 1963, in Springdale, Ark., to her parents Calvin Junior Gabbard and Wanda Sue Macy Gabbard. She was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandmother, Lilly Mae George; great-grandmother, Martha Delaney Whittle; her grandparents, Charles Calvin Sr. and Thelma "Billie" George Gabbard, Theodore "Ted" Roosevelt Macy and Effie Irene "Rizley" Macy Reeves. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Wayne Lamproe Sr. of the home; one son, Troy Alexander Lamproe of Poteet, Texas, and his two sons, Dawson and Calvin Wayne Lamproe; one stepson, Darrell Wayne Lamproe Jr. and his son, Steven, and daughter, Holly, of Chattanoga, Tenn.; one stepdaughter, Regina Squires of Springdale, Ark; two brothers, John Kralik Jr. of Missouri and James "Jimmy" Lavern Withers Jr. of Nebraska; one sister, Zanetta Lynn of Wichita, Kan.; seven stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren; five nephews and one niece; and several aunts and uncles. Renie was of the Baptist faith. She was a very caring person, always ready to help others in need of her care. Renie's hobby had to be the computer, her work, her entertainment and teaching others how to use the computer. This made her day and made her a happy person. Renie will be missed in so many ways; she was truly loved by family and friends. There will be a graveside service for Renie Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Ark.
