Luke Mire

On Friday, April 25, 2014, Luke Mire, loving husband of Amelia Murphy Mire, passed from this world. He is survived by his wife, Amelia M. Mire; his parents, Lee and Beth Mire; and his sisters, Virginia, Abby and her husband, Josh Richardson, and Amanda Mire; and two nieces, Cecilia and Elliana Scrivener. He leaves behind a large family of origin from Louisiana as well as a large family of in-laws, the Murphys of Arkansas, all of whom love him dearly. Luke was born in New Orleans, La., on Oct. 13, 1981, at Hotel Dieu Hospital. He graduated from Glendale High School in Springfield, Mo., and went on to attend and graduate from University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark. Luke leaves behind a wealth of staunch loving friends, family and his faithful dog, Herbie. He will be remembered for his quick wit, spontaneous humor and loving presence. We all wish you were here.
