Gail Joan Wilson

Gail Joan Wilson, age 82, a resident of Rogers, Ark., passed away Friday, April 25, 2014, at Circle of Life in Bentonville, Ark. Born Aug. 19, 1931, in Idaho to Joseph and Margareta (Rash) Gross, the oldest of four children. She and Marvin A. Wilson were married March 27, 1950. They had two children, Sandra and Larry. They lived in California until moving to Arkansas in August of 1958. She was active as one of Jehovah's Witnesses all her life. She and Marvin had a farm for a few years; she gardened and canned a great deal of her life. They also had a plastering business for many years. Gail enjoyed sewing, making lots of clothing for her grandchildren and made many quilts, particularly baby blankets and quilts. She was always there to help anyone in need. Gail is survived by her daughter, Sandra Keller of Rogers; son, Larry Wilson and wife, Sandie, of Kansas; eight grandchildren, Scott Keller, Tami Lincecum, Rachael Sheridan, Brandon Keller, Amanda Wilson, Emily Fowler, Erica Wilson and Rueban Wilson; great-grandchildren, Trysten Teer, Ashton Keller, Colton Davis, Todd Keller, Chandra Gandert, Dusty Brewer, Robin Davis, Zach Sheridan, Tyler Sheridan, Duston Webb and Isiah Lincecum; a great-great-granddaughter, India Lilly Fowler; one brother, Joe Gross and wife, Sharon, of California; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; both parents; brother, Burton Gross of California; and sister, Carol Riggs of Florida. Memorial services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, Ark.
