Dora Jane Savage

Dora Jane Savage, age 98, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away, Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013. She was born Dec. 2, 1914, in Cane Hill, Ark., to parents Homer Smith and Clara (Parks) Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Buck Savage. She was a member of Combs/Willow Street Church of Christ. Dora is survived by her son, Donald A. Lackey and wife, Beverly, of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Donna Pandora Arnold of Florida and Donald Lackey Jr. of California; six great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Ann Clark of Fayetteville, Helen Maxwell of Ohio, formerly of Fayetteville; sister-in-law, Margaret Smith of Fayetteville; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Moore's Chapel, with burial to follow at Oak Cemetery.
