Willard Hopkins

Willard Hopkins, 83, of Rogers died Sept. 30, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice. He was born on May 25, 1930, in Central City, Neb., to Fred and Hazel Hopkins. He married Norma Jean Vogt on Dec. 10, 1955. They moved to Bella Vista in 1989 from Omaha, Neb. He loved to fish, play golf and enjoyed his time on the lake. Survivors include a son, John Hopkins of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Janet Perry of Dallas, Texas, Jeanne Aarhus of Bellevue, Neb., and Judie Kerby of Blue Springs, Mo.; brothers, Bill, Ernest and Dick; four sisters, Betty, Margorie, Ilene and twin Wilma; and two grandchildren, Kristina and Lauren. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, in the National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ark., with Chaplain Chuck Bengtson officiating.
