Timothy George Mooney

Timothy George Mooney of Bentonville, Ark., departed this life on March 17, 2013. He was born in Muskogee, Okla., March 13, 1982. While attending Northeastern State University he majored in computer science and mathematics; he graduated in 2004 with honors. Upon graduation he took a position with Wal-Mart Headquarters and rose to become a senior programmer analyst. Tim was a very private person (he would hate the fact that you are reading this). He enjoyed nature on daily solitary walks. His wit, sense of humor, unique social commentaries and gentle spirit will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.L. "Bill" and Wylodean Norris Mooney of Mounds, Okla., and Wayne and Eunice "Sally" Ross of Tahlequah. He is survived by his spouse, Amelia; his parents, Thomas and Robin Ross Mooney; his sister, Audrey and her husband, Derek Dietz, and his niece, Aliza, and nephew, Korbin, all of Tahlequah. He also leaves behind several other extended family members, friends and his three beloved cats. A private ceremony will be held. The family suggests, because of his love for animals, memorials be made to the local Humane Society, in lieu of flowers. Tim supported many charities and believed in giving to those in need. Please consider making a positive change in a life in his honor. Cremation arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
