Troy Ryan, born April 11, 1918, and entered into Heaven on March 11, 2013, at Washington Regional Hospital. He was preceded death by his wife of 67 years, Marie Ryan; parents, Frank and Anne Ryan; one brother, Raymond; one sister, Louise; and many other relatives. He is leaving behind his sons, Bob Ryan and wife, Carolyn, of Lowell, Max Ryan and wife, Jacci, of Sonora; grandchildren, Richard Ryan of New Mexico, Sean Ryan and wife, Lynn, of Springdale, Cara Riley and husband, Phil, of Bentonville, and Aaron Ryan and wife, Katherine, of Rogers; and nine great-grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Joshua, Jacob, Hannah, Caleb, Kayla Grace, Abby and Kaitlyn; also sisters, Francis Ennis, and Freda Sue Williams and husband, Jim. Troy was the founder of Ryan's Clothing Store in 1941 in downtown Springdale. He was a member of Cross Church Springdale, serving in many different roles in the church. He served in the Army during World War II. He loved to read, work in the yard, travel and family. He cared for widows and helped many people throughout his life. He and Marie enjoyed their residence at Butterfield Trail and the care he received for the last two years. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Cross Church in Springdale, with the Rev. Bob Ryan officiating. Burial will be Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. Pallbearers are Rich Ryan, Sean Ryan, Aaron Ryan, Phil Riley, Adam Ryan and Andrew Ryan.
