Clifford Eugene Beehler, 78, of Garfield went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at his home. He was born July 26, 1934, in Centralia, Okla., to Fred R. Beehler and Grace Louise Ellis. Clifford was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving in the Navy as an AT3 in reconnaissance for four years; an electronic specialist for 10 years with McDonnell-Douglas; owner and home builder with Village Custom Builders and owner of Lost Bridge Resort for 30 years. He and Mary served as foster parents for 20 years. He was a faithful member of Rogers First Church of the Nazarene, where he served as church board member and chairman of the Facilities and Grounds Committee for many years. Clifford loved his children and grandchildren. He was a friend and helper to all. In the later months of his life, he was blessed with services from Circle of Life Hospice of Springdale, Ark. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Morris, Donald and Myron. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary Beehler of the home; three children, Janet White and husband, John, of Gravette, Ark., Scott Beehler and wife, Angie, of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Nancy Autry and husband, Curtiss, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Frieda Spaulding of Wichita, Kan., and Tinnie King and husband, Gale, of Bartlesville, Okla.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rogers First Church of the Nazarene, 4911 W. Pleasant Grove Road, Rogers, Ark. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, at 1 p.m. at Rogers First Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Alan Johnson officiating. Military honors by the Rogers American Legion Post 100. Interment will be at the Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield, Ark. Pallbearers are Scott Beehler, John White, Curtiss Autry, Todd Bumsted, Patrick Figone and Jason Hansen.
