Robert R. McDonald Jr.

Robert R. "Rob" McDonald Jr., 64, of Bella Vista, Ark., died at his home Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013. He was born March 10, 1948, in Kansas City, Kan., to Robert R. and Lucille Bannon McDonald. Rob and his wife, Lana, moved to Bella Vista from St. Louis in 1991. Rob worked as a sales representative for several Northwest Arkansas companies, and was a very active member of St. Theodore's Episcopal Church in Bella Vista. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Michael Bannon McDonald. He is survived by his wife, Lana of the home; a son, Christopher and wife, Bernadette, and granddaughter, Abby, of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Jennifer and husband, Michael Traffis, granddaughter, Lucy, and grandson, Brendan, of Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Anne McDonald and husband, Robert Wilshire, of Kansas City, Kan.; and a brother, Peter McDonald and wife, Cheryl, of Shawnee, Kan. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on March 7, 2013, at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road, Bella Vista, 72714, with the Rev. Craig Gavin and the Rev. Kenneth Parks officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Theodore's Episcopal Church.
