Wilma Ruth Carter, 81, of Rogers died Oct. 20, 2012. She was born Nov. 16, 1930, to George and Ethyl Edens in Garfield, Ark. She was a lifelong resident of Benton County. She owned and operated Carter's Big W service station. She also taught Sunday school at Rogers First Assembly of God. She is survived by her son, Gary and wife, Terry, of Rogers; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; a brother; and her husband, Bill Carter. A visitation will be today, Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, from 5-7 p.m. at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Rogers. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. in the First Assembly of God Church in Rogers, with burial to follow at Ruddick Cemetery.
