Clarence Carson Edwards

Clarence C. Edwards, 83, of Rogers passed away Oct. 14, 2012, in Fayetteville. Clarence was born May 26, 1929, in Swain, Ark., the son of John Robert and Nancy Jane Reed Edwards. He was a former boiler operator for Scott Paper in Rogers. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church in Rogers and served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Lynn. Survivors his wife, Betty Jean Ryan Edwards of the home; sons, Kenneth Edwards of Rogers and Jonathan Edwards of Bentonville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th in Rogers. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
