Velma Jane Harp

Velma Jane Harp, age 81, of Bentonville passed away Nov. 17, 2012. Velma was born May 28, 1931, in Rogers, Ark., to parents William and Eula Mae Robinson. She was a lifelong resident of Benton County and enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and quilting. Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; son, Kenneth Duane Harp; and brothers, Kenneth Robinson and Jackie Oxford. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Litchfield and husband, Bud, of Bentonville; stepsons, David Harp and wife, Kaye, and Dale Harp of Huntsville; grandson, Michael Taylor of Bentonville; and two brothers and one sister. Memorial services are scheduled from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at the Circle of Life Hospice Chapel in Springdale, Ark. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home and Crematory, Rogers, Ark.
