Gwendolyn M. Basler

Gwendolyn M. Basler, 64, died Nov. 15, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born on Sept. 20, 1948, in San Diego, Calif. She was the loving wife of Bill Basler for many years. She drove for J.B. Hunt Transport for five years and worked 17 years until retiring in 2012. Mrs. Basler is survived by her husband of Decatur; daughter, Laura Ann Basler of Bartlesville, Okla.; brother, Charles Miller of Bartlesville, Okla.; stepfather, Leroy Schlosser of Bartlesville, Okla.; two granddaughters, Roxan Cross and Julia Cross, both of Oklahoma; and great-granddaughter, Abigail VanAtta of Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth (Frost) Schlosser; and daughter, Julie L. Basler. Her visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, from 2-4 p.m. at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. A funeral will be Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel.
