Lee Johnson, 72, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Ark. He was born on June 2, 1939, in Pioneer, Tenn. He served in the United States Navy. He married Maryann Green on Aug. 1, 1971, in Washington State. He played bass and was the lead singer for his band The Blue Echos. They performed in Las Vegas, California, Washington, Oregon and Alaska. He was a member of the Lions Club in Washington; a lifetime member of the NRA and the Elks Club. He moved to Bella Vista 14 years ago from Washington State. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Maryann of Bella Vista, Ark.; two daughters, Joy (Ricky) Gray of Rogers, Ark., Lynda Sisco (Don) of North Little Rock, Ark.; two grandsons, Sgt. Scott Gray, Aaron Gray; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Gray and Jackson Lee Gray. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, Ark. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
