Mary Frances King

Mary Frances King, affectionately known as Doodle, age 83, of Bentonville, passed away March 25, 2012. Fran was born Sept. 9, 1928, in Durham, N.C., to parents Paul H. King and Margaret Mulligan. She grew up in North Carolina and after completing her bachelor's degree moved to Glendale, Calif. There she worked for many years as an office administrator. In recent years, Fran moved to Northwest Arkansas and resided at The Gardens of Osage Terrace. Fran is survived by her niece, Jamie White of Fayetteville; great-nephew, Clay Winkelman of Fayetteville; and great-niece, Anna-Marie Jarrett of Farmington. Her memorial service will be Sunday, April 1, 4:30 p.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, the columbarium in the garth. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
