Thomas P. "Tom" Clark, 67, of Bentonville, passed away March 25, 2012, at the Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonville. He was born July 9, 1944, in Bentonville to W. Pasco and Gracie Clark. Tom graduated in 1962 from Bentonville High School. He married Dorothy Duncan in 1965. In 1969, he began working in the real estate business. In 1976, he was one of three founding partners of National Realty in Bentonville. He later became owner of the company and managed it until his death. He was a kind, fair and honest person, which made him a successful business man. He will be remembered for his humorous personality, optimistic attitude, love for his family and community. He was a former member of the volunteer Bentonville Fire Department and past member of the Bentonville Kiwanis Club and the Jaycees. For relaxation he enjoyed taking care of his cattle and farm work, with his favorite joy being time spent with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Willard Clark and M.L. Clark. He is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Dorothy (Duncan) Clark of the home; two daughters, Cyndi Clark of Bentonville and Deanna Ratcliffe and husband, Adam, of Bentonville; grandchildren, Hunter and Mary-Grace Ratcliffe of Bentonville and Courteney Ratcliffe Melancon of Gonzales, La.; three brothers, Jerry Clark and wife, Becky, of Bentonville, Coy A. (C.A.) Clark and wife, Tobi, of Indialantic, Fla., and Bobby Clark of Rogers; two sisters, Louise Kildow and husband, Robert, of Bentonville and Louetta Clark of Bentonville; also three aunts, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and a whole host of friends and extended family. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services, 2898 West Walnut, Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at First United Methodist Church, Bentonville, with the Revs. Rex Dickey and Susan Ledbetter officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Bentonville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village, 900 N.E.
