Bette Hendrix

Bette Hendrix, age 86, of Garfield, died March 21, 2012, at her home. She was born in Wichita, Kan., on Dec. 11, 1925. She worked at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., for Coleman Outdoors in Wichita, and later retired from Wal-Mart Stores. Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly Morgan and husband, Jerry, of Roseburg, Ore., Tierney Garrett of Garfield, Bronwyn Springfield and husband, Dwight, of Garfield; sisters, Roberta of California, Ruth of Kansas; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Wayne Hendrix. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
