Joshua Adam Thomas

Joshua Adam Thomas, age 38, of Farmington died Monday, March 12, 2012, in Farmington. He was born Sept. 21, 1973, and was adopted by Loyd and Shirley Thomas of Fayetteville in 1981. Josh attended Fayetteville Public Schools and Goshen Nazarene Private School. He was a member of West Ridge Free Will Baptist Church. Despite a lifetime of suffering and troubles, Josh is remembered by his large family as a kind, sweet person who would help anyone. He is survived by his parents, Loyd and Shirley Thomas of Winslow, Ark.; four sisters, Lori Tillery of Fayetteville, Ark., Cynthia Thomas of Pearl, Miss., Melody Thomas of Portland, Ore., Megan Alderson of Fayetteville, Ark.; four brothers, Jeffrey Thomas of Valencia, Calif., Jonathan Thomas of Winslow, Ark., Isaac Thomas of Arlington, Texas, Stephen Thomas of Winslow, Ark.; and nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A memorial service under the direction of the Rev. Loyd Thomas will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at West Ridge Free Will Baptist Church on Wedington Drive. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Food Pantry of West Ridge Free Will Baptist Church, P.O. Box 781, Fayetteville, AR 72702. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
