JoAnn Davis

JoAnn Davis, long-time resident of Rogers, Ark., passed on March 5, 2012. In addition to numerous friends and extended family, ever-faithful dog companions Annie and Toby survive her. JoAnn Gene Terrill was born to Samuel Milton Terrill and Edna (LaFargue) Terrill in Stuttgart, Ark. She graduated from DeWitt High School in DeWitt, Ark. After high school JoAnn earned a degree in business and, throughout her professional career, worked in a number of important positions in the business world. JoAnn met her husband, Neil Floyd Davis, at the Air Force Officers Club in Houston, Texas, where he was serving as a colonel. They were married in 1975 and lived in Scottsdale and Payson, Ariz. Shortly after Neil's passing in 1991, JoAnn moved to Rogers. JoAnn was an active member of the Christian Science Church in Rogers, and former president and active board member of Meals on Wheels of Benton County. A celebration of JoAnn's life will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services, 2898 West Walnut, Rogers.
