William 'Bill' Lyman Kelley

William "Bill" Lyman Kelley, 78, of Springdale, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the Willard Walker Hospice House. He was born June 12, 1933, in Lyman, Colo., to Lyman and Thelma Lease Kelley. Bill worked for Combs Construction for eight years. He retired after 30 years from Allen Canning Co. He enjoyed his mules and horses. But most of all, he enjoyed his family and was a good father. He was preceded in death by one son, David Earl Kelley; and one brother, Robert Kelley. Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Kelley of the home, to whom he was married Jan. 18, 1992; two sons, Gaylen Kelley and wife, Susan, of Bella Vista, and Matt Martin of Springdale; four daughters, Linda Crouch and husband, David, of Fayetteville, Felicia Kelley and Edward Genson of Springdale, Pam Franks and husband, Stephen, of Springdale, and Jessica Pile of Lowell; two brothers, Donald Kelley of Fort Scott, Kan., and Raymond Kelley of Elkins; one sister, Diana Nelson and husband, Jim, of Springdale; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, March 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Elm Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carl Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.
