Geneva P. Darnell

Geneva P. Darnell, 72, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away peacefully on Feb. 25, 2012, surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law of Bentonville, Bendi and David Toland; grandsons, Ryan and Jeramy Toland. She had two stepdaughters, Susan Blackwell of Michigan and Sally Miller of Tennessee (deceased), their children and grandchildren. She has taken many others under her wing along the way. She was born March 15, 1939, in Holly Grove, Ark., the daughter of Pearl and Neely Wilkinson. She had four siblings, Vivian Skinner of Benton, Ark. (deceased), Harriette Wilson of Mountain Home, Ark., Betty Burton of Garland, Texas, and Herman Wilkinson of Rogers, Ark. Geneva was a member of Radiant Life Church in Bentonville, Ark. She really enjoyed service to others and caring for the sick and people in need. She was the third person hired at Daisy Air Rifle when it moved to Rogers, Ark., in 1958. She worked in retail and apartment management in Little Rock and Dallas area most of her life. She loved watching gaited horse shows. A memorial service will be held at Radiant Life Church, 915 W. Central, Bentonville, Ark., on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 1 p.m. Services by Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville.
