Eve Kiphen

Beatrice Evelyn "Eve" Kiphen, 86, of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonville. She was born Sept. 13, 1925, in Selma, La., to Edward Edgar and Pearl Naomie Lay Wilkinson. Mrs. Kiphen was a farmer in her early years. She was devoted to the care of her family, and had a very strong faith. Following the death of her husband, Leroy Kiphen in 2003, she moved to Bella Vista, where she enjoyed activities at Village House. She is survived by four children, Lee Kiphen and wife, Retha, of Bella Vista, David Kiphen and wife, Jamie, and Carroll Kiphen and wife, Susie, all of Brownsville, Texas, Nancy Neans and husband, Terry, of Fredericksburg, Texas; seven grandchildren, Neil, Victoria, Louis, Roger, James, J.B. and Sara; and two great-grandchildren, Elvis and Lisa. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale. Online guest book at heritageofnwa.com. Interment at Bella Vista Memorial Garden Cemetery will be private.
