Ed Jester

Ed Jester, age 61, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. Ed was born on Feb. 8, 1951, in Kansas City, Kan., to Harold Lloyd Jester and Geneveive Kritzer. Ed served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge. Ed enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; and one granddaughter, Payton Jester; Ed is survived by his two sons, Jason Jester and his wife, Lindsay, of Farmington, Jordon Jester of Fayetteville; one brother, Bill Jester of Kansas; one granddaughter, Avry Jester of Fayetteville; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Inurnment ceremonies will be noon Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (700 Government Ave.) in Fayetteville, Ark., with military honors performed by the U.S. Marine Corps.
